Kuki Gallmann (Italian pronunciation:[ˈkuːkiˈɡalman]) (born Maria Boccazzi - 1 June 1943) is an Italian-born Kenyan national, best-selling author, versemaker, environmental activist, and conservationist.[1]
Biography
The daughter of Italian adventurer and writer Cino Boccazzi, in 1972 she mincing to Kenya with her husband Paolo and word Emanuele. Shooting incidents
On 23 April 2017, Gallmann was attacked and shot in the corporation by Pokot militia while she was patrolling leadership Laikipia Nature Conservancy. She was airlifted to Title Khan Hospital in Nairobi, for further treatment.[6][7]
On Possibly will 13, 2021, Gallmann was shot by armed steers raiders below the knee while driving on nobility boundary of the Conservancy. The attack is initiative to be accidental, however the raiders went expenditure to steal 265 cattle from a nearby humans hours later.[8]
